Rob is a retired police officer who served in various roles throughout Edinburgh and the Scottish Borders.

He developed his passion for fly fishing while growing up in a remote Highland glen, surrounded by hill lochs and rivers. With over 45 years of experience, he has fished extensively for salmon, trout, and grayling throughout mainland Scotland and the Western Isles.

Since retiring, Rob has worked as a guide and ghillie on the River Tweed, which he has fished for more than 20 years.
